‘I’ll use some players who have played less’

Arsène Wenger admits his team selection for the visit of Manchester City depends on the outcome of Saturday’s game against Fulham.

Roberto Mancini brings his high-flying City side to Emirates Stadium in the Quarter-Finals of the Carling Cup on Tuesday.

Traditionally Wenger has used the competition to blood the Club’s rising stars and once again he will be looking for the right blend.

“I want to see the game on Saturday to answer that question,” he said. “I will certainly play some players who have played less.

“But still we will try to have a good mixture between young players and experience so we have a good chance to win the game.”
